Bridge & Tunnel - 45 Bleecker Street Theater
Meryl Streep co-produced the latest play by writer-performer Sarah Hones, who plays 14 characters in this critically acclaimed one-woman show. In this play, ten characters travel the roads of assimilation to tell the story about New York-as-melting pot. Mohammed, a Pakistani accountant; Mrs. Ling, a Chinese mother adjusting to her daughter's alternative lifestyle; and Nareida, a young Latina with a quick wit, are three of the characters.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday - Saturday at 8pm; Sunday at 7pm, Saturday at 4pm

Cookin’ – Minetta Lane Theatre
Cookin', described as a "fast, funny, foot-tapping Benihana gone berserk," comes to the Minetta Lane Theatre from Seoul, Korea. In this non-verbal physical comedy, four chefs are ordered to create a seven-course wedding banquet in just one hour. While their frazzled manager tries to keep the preparations on schedule, the gourmet goofballs whip together a blend of martial arts, Samulnori drumming, slapstick comedy and dance into a feast of fun, all topped off with some delicious dishes that audience members are invited to taste.

Blue Man Group, Astor Place Theatre*
Part performance art with audience participation, three performers with bald, blue heads use every imaginable prop in this totally fun and unique production. De La Guarda, Daryl Roth Theatre*
This Argentine theatrical troupe, soars 40 feet above the audience in this entertaining combination of circus and performance art. Suspended by cables, performers swing from the ceiling and occasionally scoop up audience members for a skyride. With great music, spectacular lighting, and a full-blown rain storm, this show is something you'll never forget. The audience stands and moves throughout the entire performance. The show also uses water, mist, and fog. Children under the age of 8 are not allowed in the theater.
